This mystery has been solved by Pascal Cotte a French Engineer. Cotte scanned the painting using his invention Multi-spectral Imaging Camera. The results found in her left eye a single brush stroke in the eyebrow.
"I am an engineer and scientist, so for me all has to be logical. It was not logical that Mona Lisa does not have any eyebrows or eyelashes," Cotte told LiveScience. "I discovered one hair of the eyebrow."
Yes, Mona Lisa have truly painted with eyebrow's but that had gradually disappeared over time. Today, this nearly disappearing eyebrows adds mystery to the viewers.
